In a sleepless night Dante Gabriel Rossetti, obsessed by the death of his beautiful wife Elisabeth Siddal, immerses himself in the poetry of Dante Alighieri.
The destinies of the two artists, united by the tragic end of their beloved, intertwine in a dream in which poetry, music and painting will lead the audience on a fantastic journey between Middle Ages and Victorian era.
